Increased Precautions We're Taking in Response to COVID-19

LAST UPDATED ON 03/15/2021

As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Sacramento Comprehensive Treatment Center to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

In adherence to the social distancing recommendations provided by the CDC, we have implemented strict protocols at our clinic to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

  • Patients who have active symptoms of illness or a fever of 100 degrees or higher must call ahead to arrange after-hours dosing.
  • The number of people allowed inside the building at any given time is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines.
  • The number of people waiting in line is restricted based on county, state, and federal guidelines, and those present must maintain a minimum distance of six feet from one another.
  • To maintain line restrictions, patients are asked to wait in their cars until direction is given.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, there are certain restrictions in place regarding on-site visitation at Sacramento Comprehensive Treatment Center.

  • These restrictions have been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

For specific information regarding these changes and limitations, please contact us directly.

CDC updates are consistently monitored to ensure that all guidance followed is based on the latest information released.

Our Therapeutic Treatments

Therapeutic Treatments for Opioid Abuse

In addition to the medications that we provide to help individuals succeed over their opioid addictions, we at Sacramento Comprehensive Treatment Center are proud to offer the inclusion of therapeutic interventions into each one of our patient’s care so they can establish long-term recovery. We believe that in order for patients to achieve success over their opioid addictions, therapy is required so that they can address the psychological and emotional influences that have served as catalysts for their opioid addiction development. At Sacramento Comprehensive Treatment Center, we include different means of therapy into our patient’s medication treatment plans so that each one of them is given a solid chance of establishing recovery.

Those individuals who find themselves in the throes of addiction to substances like heroin or prescription painkillers typically do so because they are making efforts towards hiding from emotional pain. Negative emotions often tend to trigger an individual to abuse substances, as well as counteract an individual’s efforts to recover. When participating in a treatment program that only focuses on addressing the physical symptoms of addiction (such as withdrawal symptoms and cravings), individuals become more likely to relapse on the same substances that initially led them to treatment, as the feelings and emotions behind the use are not being addressed. It is for this very reason that we at Sacramento Comprehensive Treatment Center offer patients therapeutic opportunities that include the following:

  • Group therapy
  • Individual therapy
  • Comprehensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment
  • Transitions Program
  • Maintenance Program
  • Detox program

Our team of highly skilled counselors is trained in treating individuals who are struggling with an addiction by providing the above listed therapies. The recommendation for the amount of individual and group therapy sessions that should be attended will vary from patient to patient, as these recommendations are based solely on the needs of the individual. At Sacramento Comprehensive Treatment Center, all therapy is viewed as an imperative aspect of care.
